MADE IN JAPAN - ROM/COM ANIME

Here comes my first post for Anime Lovers! I love to spend some time (almost every day when I'm into an Otaku phase ) watching Anime series. My favourite genre is Romance and Comedy ones (Romcom), mostly Comedies! But not anything romantic or comedy will do, they really need to catch my attention.

I must say what I look first in an Anime is how it is visually with the colours and lines. Also the storyline needs to be consistent and with "a feel" in it. 

My definite Anime is the ones of STUDIO GHIBLI, and HAYAO MIYAZAKI is the greatest director of Anime, in future posts I'll talk more about them. 

Japanese people seem to have an adoration and pride towards their school uniform girls, and many (I would boldly affirm most) Romcom anime series are set in a high school or/and focused with the lives of high school students. My top favourite anime series involving High schoolers is KARE KANO. It's full of comedy, and romance evolves slowly but steady. The main Character is a girl called Yukino, she has always been the top student pretending to be cool and humble when in reality she's totally into herself with lots of vanity and arrogance craving for admiration from everyone. Then a brilliant student called Arima took away her chances of becoming number one in her High scool. 

Not only he's intelligent, he's very popular with boys and girls, he's charming, nice, and humble (apparently the contrary of her). 

Automatically he became Yukino's number one rival, and she sets up a plan to ruin Arima's limelight by stealing his crown in the next exams, but slowly with her unaware of it, love starts blossoming between the two of them.. As the story advances it focus more in life's aspects and psicological/emotional issues of each one of the characters involved (many more come into scene to cause havoc and changing their lifes forever). 

I Highly recommend it to anyone who never watched this one before and likes Romcom.
